No check mark

When I view new posts I don't see a check mark for the threads
I have already posted in. I can move the mouse over the icon on
the left and it says how many posts I have made in the thread
but I should be getting an indicator showing that I had posted
in that thread.

The check mark will only show up on the New Posts page...

Go to User Control Panel / Subscriptions, and turn on notification...

I don't see it on the "New Posts" page.

I am also subscribed with no email notification.

I also logged out and back in again.

Still don't see an indication that I have posted or started
a thread.

i wouldn't be surprised if non vip's didn't have the "new posts" button.as this draws on the bandwidth.and what vip access is all about,paying for bandwidth.
(commonly mistaken for "paying for files")

Friends of mine who are not VIP can see the check mark.

This indication is a standard for all forums. Different forums tag the
icon's on the left of the thread in different ways depending on the
skin. But for them not to be displayed is not a standard thing.

look on the left and if there isa star on the envelope then you have posted in that thread

All the star indicates is that there is a new post. Not necessarily mine.
That's according to the ledger on the bottom of the page. And it
holds true when I look at the new posts.

My understanding from other members here is that I'm supposed to get
a check mark on the icon to the left of the thread name, if I had
posted in it.

Hey bud,, look at the first icon and the last one you just posted..

They are identical so how do I know the difference between a new
post or one I have posted in.

The new posts page are full of those icons just like that and I didn't
post in any of them.

I tried FF, Safari and Chrome and all the same.

Priest in the column under last post you should see a check mark saying you posted in that thread....should look like this

Ok I see it now. It is located to the extreme right of the thread name.
Just before the post time. Not the icon itself.
