I see that there are several stations on lyngsat that show they use DVB

Can i find a bin that will work on these and not get hit by a ecm like the ones on dish or bev?

I would like to watch some of the stations other then dish or bev.

I am hoping by doing that, my reciever might run.

Part 02: If i put in a bin file will i have to go search sats again, and resave all the information? I am assuming the bin file updates might erase all my saved information.
