Neusat SP6000 Quick Start

C/P

Neusat for dummys??? You asked and here you go:
  1. Download the latest bin release to your computer from the site.
  2. Unzip the release file and place it on your desktop.
  3. Plug the usb thumb drive into an unused usb port on your computer and let it recognize/install itself.
  4. Once installed go to the "my computer" option on your desktop and drop the unzipped file to the newly recognized thumb drive (you will see it listed).
  5. Hook up your IRD to your TV and set your TV to the corerct station or input in order to see the receiver.
  6. Turn the IRD from the back riocker switch.
  7. If the IRD isn't already on at that point, simply press the on button on the remote.
  8. On the front of the IRD open the cover to allow access to the built in usb port
  9. and insert the thumb drive.
  10. After a few seconds the IRD will find that there is a new software update and ask for confirmation of your intent to upgrade. Select it to take the update via the onscreen prompt.
  11. The firmware will then transfer, and the IRD will reboot itself when complete.
  12. At that point blind scan each of your satellites using the proper settings for lnb type, frequency and diseqc port (you may also select auto diseqc if you wish). Personally I would suggest scanning each satellite individually.
  13. When complete exit all menu(s) and go to a station in order to let it roll.
  14. When picture pops in your ready to watch some tube.
  15. To lineup the dstations choose to sort by Provider Station ID.
  16. It's best to start by reading the supplied manual for further detailed explinations on the IRD's abilities and usage.
Thanks YODA!
