Re: Viewsat Ultra - Freezing Issue

Try this to cure it. Turn Power OFF from the rear power switch. Unhook the LNB IN wire. Turn Power back ON for a minute. You can check your menus, be sure AutoTP is ON and Autoroll is ON. Sometimes a bin write can change these. Power OFF. Hook LNB cable back up. Power ON again.

If that doesn't fix it, Power it down again, unhook LNB IN cable again, power it up, and write the same bin file again via USB. After the unit reboots itself fully back to a channel number, power OFF and hook up the LNB cable back up to your receiver. (This will not hurt the receiver rewriting the bin file) If this lessens the freezing to say every 15 minutes to 30 minutes, you may have to do this a third time. Usually the above cures it, though.
