just a dumb question but how do you know if your ultra is froze up???

You won't be able to use the remote or the face controls but that was an old problem and it is fixed now.

I love my ultra.Easy to operate ,great featuers ,very fast.The USB port on the receiver makes it so easy to download new info.

Ultra Issue! When delete many stations a one time the box locks! I than need to power off and it is ok! Is this problem commom?

VS Ultra
Its not the VS-Ultra, The problem is with the program.I think its intemittent signal loss.This was address late last summer.This unit is a good unit.

I just got a viewsat ultra, and I love it, especially the usb port, makes it so much easier and faster to download bins. Also have pansat 3500s good too, just not as fast.

I have used the dreambox, pansat and now ultra and i'm disapointed that I can't read to the usb and redo my channel lineup to my specifications and I can't read or write thru the serial port, so that leaves the ultra not so good in my opinion becau | |
