Re: Ultra owners read here
Did you load the bin file thru your computer or did you used an USB drive?
If its a new out-the-box ultra, then it is recomended that you load the file using the null modem cable (You can use the USB port for future BINs)
After the file is sucesfully loaded, you'll need to adjust the antenna settings and then do an Auto Scan to get the channels.

Re: Ultra owners read here
I loaded the same bin and mine's working fine on the regular channels but still no ppv's.
Can you load the old bin from 12/14?
Try pulling the plug or turning it off from the back and load the old bin when it comes back up.
Good luck,
FS

Re: Ultra owners read here
Can anyone out there riddle me this. When I upgrade my Ultra, right from the first time, everyone of my channels are duplicated....that is theres two 200 channels, two 201 channels, two 202 channels....etc. etc. Is there some basic step I'm missing in my set-up, or is this the norm with Ultra. Let me know....I'm confused....obviously!

I did this too... you are scanning two satellites that carry the same channels. You have selected two sats (in my case, it was Nimiq2 and Nimiq3), so when you autoscan, you get both sets of channels.
To avoid this, just make sure you have only selected 1 sat for scanning. To rid yourself of the extra set of channels, go to Edit Channels, choose the delete/garbage can option, and hit the SAT button. A list will pop up of all the possibles (all b3v, nimiq2, nimiq3, echostar, etc), and you can select that set of channels. Then hit the f3 button (I think, though it will show on the menu), and that set alone will be deleted.
In a worst case scenario, you will delete all of the channels and you will have to scan all over again - but at least you will now know how to select only one sat for scanning. Hope this helped.
