Re: How-To Do Your Locals
I'm in Southeast Mexico with a 2.4Meter. I automatically get Denver and Chicago local stations although I personally would prefer Houston or Dallas stations

Re: How-To Do Your Locals
In the southern Ontario (Canada) area the closest locals are from the Buffalo area on 110. 91 does not have a locals feature.
Many attempts to setup locals for the Buffalo channels on 110 has failed.
Local Package does not appear in the SAT menu on the VS Ultra.
Whats the trick?

Re: How-To Do Your Locals
I live in the chicago suburbs. I get the East Coast and the West coast locals, but not Chicago. I have tried everything in this thread. I have a Viewsat Ultra VS2000 and get Echostar 7 (119), Echostar 8,10 (110) and Anik F3 (118.7). Which bird should I scan for the Chicago locals? Thanks.

Re: How-To Do Your Locals
Hello:
I also have the Ultra VS2000. I have some locals, I am after the Pittsburgh, PA locals. When I completed the steps from carpenter1 and I press SAT on my remote I do not have an option for Local Package. I have the EchoStar satellites and All Satellites, however, I have no option listed as "Local Package".
Any assistance would be helpful. I am getting Columbus, OH, Dayton, OH, Erie, PA all from the EchoStar-5 129W transponder which tells me my dish requires re-adjustment to the south slightly.
