Re: w/f basics. You need:
1. Internet
2. Modem/Router
3. (RJ45 jack)ethernet cable
4. Weather Forecaster

If I may expand a little. It's a serial-to-internet converter box connected in the back of your Ultra and/or Ultralite, comes with it's serial cable for STB ---->w/f connection, and it's power cable. You will need and rj45 jack (Ethernet cable) long enough to connect from your w/f-dongle to your internet connection (Modem and/or router).
Google search for the Weather Forcaster, at fleabay should cost no more than $110 including shipping, and takes 6 days delivery. I've had mine for 4 months all fine.
