Problem w/ ultra "searching signal"

I read a post about this problem a couple of weeks ago but can't find it now when I need it.

Starting today, any time I go to the guide or change the channel, I get a "searching signal" message. It stays until I do a hard reboot.

I tried fac. default X 3, then reloaded Fac file 1.19 then 07-04-07 bin. Still not working right.

Any ideas?

If it was working before, you should be ok by turning off the autoroll option in the main menu, and then entering the latest key manualy. If that does not work, then make sure your LNB's settings are ok (specialy after a factory default); if that does not work then your dish needs to be moved...

I didn't try that one last night because it just said Bev fix. I loaded it now and everything is back to normal.

Well bev came up with a new ECM and then DN followed but hate to do this to you (there's a newer bin) I am testing it and seems to be a good one too.
