Firstly, I would try to increase the signal strength and quality, and also, remember, unless you already have a channel or sat programmed and the reciever tuned to it, you could be looking at just about any bird. At least, on some of the older units, they can't discriminate between one bird or the other unless you already have a scanned freq. or channel from that bird and your unit is set to that channel before going into setup.
At least this is what I think I have experienced in the past, Im not sure if the newer recievers are different or not. If I am wrong, Im sure someone will step in here and straighten both of us out, LOL!! Anyway, my units wont evn spark up with the levels you quoted, I would try to improve on this if possible. Just trying to help, but somewhat new to this as well. Im fixing to start a new learning Venture myself as I just recieved my replacement Coolsat micro PVR 7000, cant wait!! Hope this helps!! badspill,,, but in a good way

Re: want more channels
No you dont have to add anymore codes if you have the latest bin,,,,,,,depending on your location,,,,if your in canada you would need a 30 inch dish to pick up echostar 7 @119,,,,,,,,,for echostar 8,10 @110 you would need a 1.2m dish,,,,,,,,,but if your in the usa your ok with a 18 inch dish,,,,,,,if your in the usa ,,and would like me to tell you were to point your dish ,,,post your zio code
