no information on bev

hello all first post here i am having trouble with me viewsat fta.probably nothing i can do about it but the last few months the vast majority of my channels in the guide show "no information" the channels all work and most when i go to the channel come up with the program title and info. but would like to see whats on the channels before i go to it.does this make any sense? i am a newbie so forgive me . hope someone can help me out with this

If you leave your fta on a channel with transponder 12311 it should update the guide. For example ch 352.

Good rule of thumb, when you go to bed, put on channel that has good trans, like 352, leave it there and then in the AM turn Off. I do this every three or four days, always have great EPG...
