is this a DEAD RECIVER

yesterday i loaded the new bin in my upstairs reciver it worked except for slow to change channels. then i loaded it in the basement reciver and accidently turned the power off on remote now i get no channels and some channels show S AND Q and some show S and no Q. now isaw apost about some fix file killing recivers so i did what it says on the upstairs reciver and now i have no S OR Q I did a fac defult and loaded fac codes 3 times and now i have this problem

first off are you running a multi switch if not an you are running 4x1 then just shut off one of the recievers in the back and we will work with one at a time .. tell me if you get your signal and q back when the othere is off in the back ??

First thanks for trying to help me. whats a multi switch. i have two recv's a dual lnb 2 lines to what i think maybe a multiswitch then two cables to the recivers

first shut off one reciever in the back and we will work on one at a time then the one you are going to work on shut off in the back and back on .. then can you tell me what your antenna settings are for all the sats you are getting and what dish and lnbs you are using ??? this way i can help you better .. thanks

Hi guys, I'm having a like wise problem but, my girlfriend the FTA self proclaimed expert helped (being sacastic big tyme) and now my ultra is very dead. She went to the next down loaded vsultra-failfix.zip expanded it and loaded God knows what via the USB. I get zero S and zero Q. I have selected factory defalt and powered on and off. Still nothing. I think I need to start from square one and put in a female lock out code if I ever get running. By the way she's yelling at me because there is not TV. Please help!

ive now got channels just missing alot of what i had before the ones i don't get have low signal 55-65 and q is 0. iwent into menu reset fac default then redid channels then new bin the hard reboot and the waited for a few short mins then i had a portion of my channels, but don't know where the rest are is there new keys or is this part of new bin thanks soooooooooooo much for helping me the advice i get and reading posts helps me to
