You are no where near the Sat's sweet spot to get a decent signal.

Has your dish moved? Are you experiencing <severe> "Rain Fade"

Thanks to all, I don't know what is going on , was great this morning, went out around noon, come home....WTF...Dish is well mounted on side of house, about 7 feet high, snow has almost stopped so that may have been wishfull thinking on my part. Signal goes back and forth...73..74, that seems normal to me. Oh well, looks like it will be another one of those "15 hours behind the computer days" .Oh, I noticed the "new keys for bev" posted a few minutes ago but I already have those keys on my box.(I guess it rolled on it's own????? Is that what happened? Thankyou for all your help.

Wow, I laughed to my self when I read the "get the broom out..." but guess what i've got a nice crisp picture happening..LOL, it was working before I got back in the house. Another lesson learned..funny thing is that there was only about an inch of "slushy snow" in the lower third of the dish. Thanks for the help everyone!!!

Thanks, That was fun,may be hard for some to understand but for me this is all about "playing the game" they score, we score, and we all get better as the playing gets tougher.. Now about this "sweet-spot", do you feel like making up one of those "stickys" on how one would find this "spot" and how one would know when they "found it"?If you don't have the time, I'll understand.

the sweet spot he is referring to is your dish alignment with the sat.
