Dish Problem...
Hey everyone, I was on last week and posted a thread about a SC dish and a VS Ultra Receiver. Thanx!!!! for all the replys. I ended up getting my hands on a round DN Dish with a sigle eye it.
A buddy of mine was down last night and he uploaded some codes and the only channels that a re listed are a bunch of US Stations (CBS-Boston, CBS-Seattle, WB-CHicago, etc.... and I am also getting some East Indian channels (Punjabi-TV) I beleive it was called.
All I did was take my SC Dish off and put the Round Dish on the bracket. I don't have a satalite Finder so What I did was just move it around until I got a signal strength of 89 Percent.
Is there a problem that anyone knows of still on the go with key codes???? Or do I need to reposition the dish???
Again I am still new and any help would be appreciated.

Don't know what sat you are trying to get, but sounds like your not aimed at what you were before. You will have to reaim your dish. Let us know what sat you are tryng to get. Get you a dual eye LNB and get two sats on your dish. Get Dik net and have over 700 channels with a dual eye...

Re: VS Ultra Download
Dish is at Echo 7=119, and Echo 6,8=110, and BEV is Nimiq sats 82 and 91. In your dish setup, pick the sat you want and the enter the info, your type LNB, freq number and see what you have for a signal. If its not 75 or better, move your dish till you get it. I'll be back later, got errands to run. Check on you then...

sounds like you are pointed at 129 to get 119 just move alittle to the left that will get you most of the channels off dn if you want ca. tv move it some more to the left and try to get 91 bev that has alot of ca. tv channels you will have to mess with your elev. alittle but not much. good luck and let us know how it goes
