I am not getting strong signal S bar and Q bar jump from 10 to 80. i have never had any problem before. satelite set up right. any idea

Try changing the lnb type in your menu, ie standard or universal etc.

I would have to agree....but you stated that the sat is set up right.

try a different port in the switch

If your S is low, it means your receiver and your dish are not "comunicating" check your switch, cable and LNBs. Also check that the info on your Antenna Settings match those on your LNBs and switch.
If you get a good steady read on S but your Q is all over the place, then try aligning the dish a bit, it might have moved.

bud anytime that your signal is no good you have to ask why signal being bad is that there is not a good connection to the lnb now the easiest and fastest way to check that is to remover the switch and hook to a straight line if the signal improved the you have a bad switch or port on the switch .. now if it does not then take off the lnb and and walk in the house and take a short coax and run it fron the reciever to the coax(always always make sure the box is off when doing any switching of cables and switches )) and if you get a good signal it is in the cable somewhere check ends etc. now if you still have a bad signal hook up a second lnb and check it if you geta good signal the lnb is probably shot .. these are fast ways to check yourself and you can get going faster ..

but before you do all this make sure that you change disqec to port 1 or none for a straight through connection so you can see your signal don't worry about the quailty for now you are trouble shootina bad connection..
