viewsat ultra locks up on me - ABA DSS

hey guys,

i am trying to set up a viewsat ultra vs2000 and i am having a problem. when i load the new fix onto the box and it reboots itself automatically as soon as the screen comes up it freezes. the "s" and "q" metres dont move and there is no channels or movement on the screen. i cant even access the menu or change the channel. will loading an older file and then re-loading the new one help or is there some steps that need to be taken to fix the problem? any help is appreciated.

Try loading the last working bin. If the problem stops, then your new file might be corrupted.

You can try loading the factory bin 131 via the serial cable and try newest bin via serial cable or usb thumb drive.

My experience is anything BEV will make the box freeze, even if you have channels in your Fav. Remove all BEV channels and have fun with Charlie.
