well i had my vs ultra check by a dealer and guess what?its a CLONE.so now sh still stuck on boot so is there some program for clone i an use or its just dead.or maybe a factory default would help me?thank you

If you have the reciept of your ultra. Return it. Clone never exist.

Did you buy the unit as new from a Dealer?
If so, report him to Viewsat. There is a reward if i recall rightly

I found what I was looking for, its a Viewsat Ultra Clone converter, I knew I had seen something, just had to find it in my archives

Its a combination of a small hardware mod and tweaks via software.

Its a bit technical, but not too intense, so I'd suggest perhaps that you get someone like a computer tech type guy/gal to help you. Just to be safe/sure.

I'll send it to you via PM and then have the files put on the system here.

no i bought it from a guy know by satellicom for selling
"scrap" im trying to get my money back right now from him cuz the box was working when i got i had great tv its when i put the key from a original that everything went wrong.but i can say if i dont get nothing back from that guy i will do something about it especially that i paid 250$for that junk machine lol

I got mine for $180 (including S&H) Do as Basscat said, return it and get a real one from a real dealer.

Wow...$250 is nuts real or clone....you must have the greatest Viewsat Ultra in the world...Does it turn into a transformer when an ecm hits it ? I would go back to the guy and get your cash back bro. Buy yourself a CW 600p for $100. I seen the Ultra selling at $149 in canada in certain computer stores.

well i learn my mistake and now i deal with satellicom he just bought a cw 600 premiun for 130$ with 1 year garantie so that guy who sold me his scrap aint out of trouble cuz i told his name to the guy from satellicom and he already knew him .well i know now lol

So, lets get this straight you bought your clone form a private guy who sells Junk, the guy you bought your clone from bought a CaptiveWorks for 130$, is that right?

So what have you decided to do with your clone ... if you bought it from a Store, I'll call Viewsat and let them know. Who knows they might even give you a deal on a legit model.

Man that crap pisses me off.

i bought the viewsat from some kind of store.then just yesterday i went bought a captive work 600 premiun from satellicom in granby.when i showed him ma viewsat ultra he knew right off from which j*** i got the viewsat from.so right now the guy who sold me scrap as the give me my money back or an original box.the sadess part was he got me,2 of my friend,my mom and 25 other people.from now on i wont deal with anybody else then satellicom that for sure
