Annoying Freezes
I'm watching locals from here, and around my spotbeam area, and in no particular pattern it keeps freezing briefly, going to the info screen, and then back.
Started around 10:40ish, EST.
Anyone else?

Re: Annoying Freezes
I understand and appreciate that, and am by no means complaining. I was just curious if anyone else was experiencing it too.

Re: Annoying Freezes
I may have discovered the effect without knowing the cause.
I have a Dish 500 dish, with a DP Pro LNB, and to my main tv I have a VS Ultra 2000 and to the tv in my bedroom is a Pansat 3500SD.
The problems I have been experiencing relate to the VS, obviously, but I just went into the other room and without turning on the tv I noticed the display on the 3500 is changing. It was though the receiver kept rebooting. It'd say on, B-80, ----, nothing, on, B-80, etc. I turned the on/off switch off in the back without turning the tv on to see what the display was like there, and left. Since I've come back to the VS, it has been fine.

Re: Annoying Freezes
Again, once I turned the Pansat off in the back, the Viewsat started working fine. Haven't messed with the Pansat since, as it was way past my bedtime already. I'll report more once I do if there is still issues.
