remote issues

alright i've the new bin and new batteries but my remote isn't working.
we can't access any menu to download the freezing bin or factory default.
We can change the channels on the receiver manually.

what do i do?

try pushing the stb button on your remote first and then try again mabe you pushed another button by mistake..

Did u figure this out cause i have the same problem & I know the STB button is pushed on my remote....

nope, still no solution
so far I've...

-quadruple checked remote was on STB
-hard booted the unit
-unplugged receiver from sat
-unplugged power to receiver
-went out and purchased new batteries

...and still nothing?
