Downloaded fact def/bin file...?

Okay. I downloaded the factory default & such through my USB. It said "INST." then went to 00.00. So, nothing comes up on my screen & I cannot use my remote to select so where do I go from here after I install? I hooked the cable back up to the tv. I even made sure I hit STB on my remote but the screen is totally black.

try reloading factory file by the null cable that came with box

That's what I did. If you download something will a picture come up on the screen? I mean how do you get to the menu after you download something?

you should but i have never tried it with just the factory file on it
i put on factory file then new bin and scan make sure that loader is finished before turning power off after each reload hard reboot with switch

Don't forget that your box needs to be re-scanned and set up

how do i load from null cable that came in box my laptop does not have a port that the cable will fit to.

i don't use a laptop but I know that is talked about on this site. You could try a search,there are ways but I think you need "something"....

Jax....you loaded box with "failfix" and now have box like the day you bought it. Did you set box up when it was new?
