Re: Using the old 26th Bin file
I am also using the 1226 BIN and I am getting fairly regular freezing. Same freezing I remember having on 12/26 when I originally loaded it. I do have channels though. I tried 1222 BIN and got 0 channels. I am a little confused about autoroll, but here was my procedure:
1) Power Off, Restart and load 1226 BIN, Power Off
2) Power Up, Turn Unit On, and confirm autoroll OFF, Turn Off, Power Off
3) Power Up and install new keys, Turn On
Why would I have no channels at all when loading a bin like 1222? Are people having less frezzing with 1222?
Regards,
Brian

how are you loading your bin's?with usb stick or cable.if your using usb you leave the unit on go into your menu go to receiver upgrades go down to usb insert stick the receiver will recognize hit ok on your remote while the usb is highlighted in the menu.once the screen comes up with the bins scroll down to the bin you want to install hit ok leave the usb in the unit don't touch anything until the unit reboots if the unit just shut's down don't worry just turn it back on using either your remote or the button on the front of the unit.also after you turn on unit ,you can pull the usb out. Re: Using the old 26th Bin file
I've always used loader2 because my USB has never worked since i got the unit. I would get a an error when it tried to use the stick (and I tried more than one), I never got it to work, so I gave up trying. I have an old windows laptop (affectionately dubbed the "hacktop") that is dedicated to loading bins and keys. It sits on my entertainment center, and chimes if new keys arrive, since its already hooked up, I simply start loader2, power up the box, and I am up and running in under a minute. Using the USB stick would probably take longer having to xfer files. No need with the "hacktop"
Regards,
Brian
