Viewsat Ultra problem -- autorolling after reviving it
A couple days ago when uploading the January 8th fix, it froze midway, and eventually I had to end up turning it off. It died, I got the "----".
So I used to dead viewsat fix, and got it back up and running again. When I use the Jan. 8th fix, all it does is autoroll. I know the fix works because I have another box that I've put it on, and it works great.
So then I uploaded the factory default file, and again with the Jan. 8th fix, and I get the same result.
How do I fix this problem? I've tried to upload to a computer the settings from the other box, but all I get is "FAIL" when I do it. Is there a way to clone my settings from one box directly to the other?
Thanks for any help

Try going back to an older bin. I'm up with veb with the bin from 26th. Did you rescan?

First of all WELCOME to the site. Buddy load the older bin PFTAUSW-071222U works for me. Just OFF the autoroll in the option setting.

Re: Viewsat Ultra problem -- autorolling after reviving it
Thanks for the help so far, but unfortunately neither of the two fixes worked. And when I rescan for channels, I get significantly less than I did before, from about 1000 down to about 200. To make sure it wasn't a cable issue I switched the two boxes and rescanned them both in each others position, the one that has worked the whole time still gets about 1000 hooked up where the problem one was. The problem one is still getting 200 in the place of the working one. All the settings are exactly the same, so thats not the problem.
