Viewsat Autoroll not rolling on latest bin.
Hi guy,
I'll start by congratulating this great site. You dont see me posting question often cuzz I usually find the answer and stay out to keep traffict down. Grats to all supporters and coders.
Now, the problem i'm having with my viewsat ultra 2000 is that autoroll is not rolling the keys with new bin. Do i need to manually input keys for it to work or did i do something wrong? I'll appreciate any help i can get on this.
Thanks.

I've heard in some cases that it took 10-15 minutes before it rolled. Just leave it on a channel and come back.

Do a hard reboot (turn off the power switch in back) and then back on.
You did mean the 2/4/08 file right?
Please post back with results.

Yes, the lates bin file. I did the hard reboot, and nothing rolling yet. It'll be ok for me if BEV doesn't roll cuzz i dont have BEV i have DN only but again, Lates file still not rolling for DN. Should I put back the DN file fix on 01/26/08?

Re: Viewsat Autoroll not rolling on latest bin.
Hi Carlos, Yes I have the A/R on and lates file. I was not affected on Saturday by the ECM since I have DN and not BEV and i was running fine with the 01/26/08 DN fix. Is that file still good to go for DN? or this lates one should be working for both too?

Re: Viewsat Autoroll not rolling on latest bin.
If the other suggestions offered do not provide a solution, get a copy of VSKey 2.6 and make a set of keys and upload them to your Unit , just as you might a BIN file

Re: Viewsat Autoroll not rolling on latest bin.
Good evening creativegenuis, Ok sounds like a plan. Now where would i get the VSkey 2.6? What do u mean by create a set of keys and Just flash it to box like a regular bin file? This would be my first time trying this so pls direct me to the right direction. Thanks

Re: Viewsat Autoroll not rolling on latest bin.
The first thing you'll need to do is get a copy of VSKey2.6 its here in the downloads section on the site, but I see you haven't upgraded your access as yet ...
Once you have a copy of that Tool, you can make a set of electronic keys to upload to your receiver, just as you would a .bin file.
This may fix your seemingly endless autoroll issue.
