FROZEN/LOCKED - Ultra Fix
bel71281; There is nothing to say but thanks for your posting of this fix. I followed your directions to the T and much to my surprise was able to bring my friend's Ultra back to life. Without this post would have been at a loss. Thanks again and for those having the same problem.....go for it it does in fact put life back in the dead box.

FYI, as i understand it, if you now have the latest bin in the ultra, if the bin file fails during the load, you dont have to use the loader program with the serial cable. as i understand, all you have to do is rename the latest bin and put it on the usb stick, put it in the unit and power it on. its supposed to load the bin that way. there is a post here that will tell you what the bin file has to be renamed to.
am i correct on this one?
