Just load the latest Fact File V132 and then the latest BIN file.

everyone should know that loading a factory bin can fix the following problems
1) cant turn on ur reciver
2) you see an error messege
3) you cant autoroll
4) remote not working
5) cant load a regular bin
6) cant turn off reciver

Re: 8888

you should always try a hard reboot with the switch on back first, could save you a lot of work. if that does nothing follow apoc's advice.

Re: 8888

sorry to bring up an old thread... but I just received my ultra and i think it failed on the PFTAUSW file because now all i get is a black screen with 8888 on the receiver, switching power switch on/off does nothing.. its dead. I'm away for school and only have laptop so I can't use a null cable to revive it with the bin file, is there any other way of doing this??
