my ultra saying "searching signal" every 2 sec.
i own a viewsat ultra andfor some reason this morning it started saying "searching signal " every 2 seconds, then black screen then again picture the black screen with saying "searching signal". i am getting tired of it.. please someone tell me what is the cause of it..

make sure your connections are tight dish and receiver and that nothing is obstructing your dish.

hey man give a factory default and scan the channels and configure the sats..

sounds like a bad coax and/or coax connection somewhere.....your dish also could be moving in the wind slightly if its not tight or aimed properly......it could also be a tree branch blowing in the wind obstructing the signal now and then

-Check the connections
-Check the dish if all the bolts are tight.
-It could be defective switch as well.
