118 119 combo lnb with dual output

Question i have a combo lnb that picks up 118.7 119 my dish is a eliptical dtv para todos 24" i replaced my standard lnb 0n 119 now i get 118 and 119 thru 119 but lost 110 and 91 i was wondering if my dish is to small or do i have to replace my other lnbs with universal or change the settings on the standard lnb and set the settings on the tp manually 119 in port 1 110 port 2.Also when i take the combo lnb off and put the standard lnb i get my 91 119 110 back.

when you change lnb you have to change settings in your receiver to the type of lnb you are using. so go to menu find dish settings and change lnb type setting...

I get no signal on 110 with 118/119 combo lnb

are you using a diseqc switch? if so the port settings have to match.
119 on port 1 is only if you are using a DP series or if you actually have 119 in your switch as port 1. im sure you can at least get 110. do you have 3 lnbs now?

i have two dish one has 110 119 other dish 91 diseqc is viewsat 4 ports yes 3 lnbs i loose 110 and 91 i get 119 118.7 tried two different diseqc same problem put regular lnb and110 119 91 come back maybe i have defective combo lnd also i left 110 by it self realign other dish for 119 put combo lnb and i loose 110 91 but get 119.118.7 played with tp and frequencies nothing 119 port 1 118 port 2 91 port 3 on diseqc i have dtv lnbs dtv para todos dish

ok lnb was defective got new one 110 119 118.7 i get them now the only thing is 118.7 Q is very low 20%.Also later i am going to install the new binmaster_satinfo_05072008_ULTRA.Any suggestion on getting stronger Q signal is about 65%

you may want to tweak the dish a bit. take a marker and mark your settings on the dish so u know where to go back to if you run into problems.

Hey jorgeldelapaz,

I have the same setup like you but I was told to replace the dish with a 33". All problems went away once I did and now 118, 119 and 110 all work with no issues.

Barqs, you mentioned that you're getting 110, 118 & 119. Are you using the combo lnb for 118, 119 & a standard lnb beside it to get 110?. planning to set one up. thanx

I use one LNB to catch 118 and 119, it's a special LNB, not just the standard LNB that I was suing for 119, I had to actually buy this one.

as for 110, after you get 119 and tighten the dish, all you need to do is add the 110 LNB to the right of 119. There will be maybe an inch or two of space separating the lnbs, so just put a piece of wood or something in the middle and use a strap to tighten them together.

Do your scans and you are good to go!

I have a standard DN dish with just one LNB looking at Bird 119 can I add the second LNB for 110 wire tied to the other LNB with a spacer between then or is the dish to small? Or should I just get a new Dish 500 with twin LNBs?
