Viewsat Ultra not working - ABA DSS

I have a viewsat Ultra and I cannot seem to get it to work. I loaded the new bin and it was working OK then all of a sudden yesterdays it stop working. It keeps auto rolling. Can anyone help.

try loading the factory bin, and then factory reser, then scan sats again, and you should have no problem

do a hard reboot then put on channel 200 for a couple of minutes give it some time for keys to roll in.

im in the same boat as you , ive dont everything and i finally revived the stb but i still dont have any channels comming in , it just autorolls constantly , being doing the for hours , i loaded the main.pgm file and ive loaded the fac file 132 , then loaded the newest bin and now im still autorolling , i dont know whts up , once i find out a resolution ill let you know

check your settings you guys, they should look like this:
antenna settings
press menu- installation- pin code- antenna setup
sattelite echostar 7 (for example)
lnb power - on
lnb type - universal ( some may use standard)
lnb high - 11250
lnb low - 9750
tp freq - 12224
diseqc 1.0 - port (depends on where the cables are on the switch. use none if you only have one dish and lnb)
motor - off
legacy sw - none

tnp every thing looks good except for the tp should be 12239 for echo 7 (119). would you concure?

pretty sure mine is 12224 but you got me curious now, I have to go and check.

it will default back to 12224 after you set it but to check the birds Q you should set it to 12239 for the Q to light-up.

Thanks for all your help it is up and working however I cannot get all the HBO and PPV channels. I only get some. In addition I do not get any local channels.

I am in the Chicago land area and I cannot get 7,5,2 etc.

Any idea

some are on 119 and some are on 110, press the sat button and put on all sats. check to see if you have good quality on both too.
you can pick your local stations and toggle them on and off in your settings too. you should check and see if they are set right.
