I have had the same post on the Neosat forum before. I have this issue where I am not getting any Quality and no signal lock on some of the Vertical Tps on Nimiq 2 (12282 to name one). Nimiq1 seems fine.
I have a Dish 500 with DP Twin. I am now trying with the Viewsat and no signal quality.
Will an eliptical dish help in this case? Any idea? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
You are using the same connections for the vs that you used for the Neo?
If so, then it is LNB or dish settings more than likely.
Port 2 for Nimiq 2, 11250, 12224, osc/DPP

Whirley, did u see my comments above? I have no luck. I have tried the best to tune the dish. I am getting good signal and quality on Nimiq 1, but noit as much on Nimiq2. Do you think a Eliptical dish will solve this with the skew angle?
No I really don't. The dish you have will do it just as well. Do you have another LNB ? If not, switch the 2 LNB .s and see if the problem moves with LNB. Gotta be that or a connection/cable problem
