Ultra need help - ABA DSS

Hi guys, is there any difference between the first ultra came out in 06 with the rear in black color and the new ultra V2 rear in white color are this 2 ultra same function,the reason i ask for help is at present I have the 1st model ultra and it is dead. I would want to buy the same so maybe I can clone it back to life...any comment guys?

the newer V2 unit has a different tuner than the original one. the original tuner was discontinued. the newer bins support both models. make sure you have the latest factory file if you planning to restore the factory settings.

So the new V2 ultra were not clone the origanal ultra right?

it do power up but with 4 dash_ _ _ _ also all loading "FAIL" with null cable and USB nothing work.

mine done the same thing so i flip the power switch on an off in the back an it finaly loaded with a null cable it is not dead just asleep i have both ultra an they work great

That is exactly the same with my Ultra, though of sending it to viewsat for repair but cost $75.00 + shipping $15.00 were be $90.00 over,not really a good deal. A new ultra cost around $150.00, You guys said it can be clone the Ultra back to life if it is the same model but it looks like this model is discountinue that is why I need help on the ultra V2 if is possible to clone the ultra . If it can than i can have a extra ultra for another room.I need you guys opinion if it really can't clone than my next STB is Sonicview 360 series.

YES YOU CAN CLONE THEM THAY ARE THE SAME BUT YOU CAN FIX THE ONE YOU HAVE NOW IF YOU WANT

I flip the power switch for many hours until my finger cramp and the answer on the LCD is "FAIL", so frustrated for so many hours hoping the front LCD would come in with anything rather than "FAIL" imaging putting in hundred in a slot machine coming up empty not even a cherry symbol.
