Premium Channels locking up/auto roll - ABA DSS

Haven't really gotten a concrete awnser in my other post, so hopefully this area is a little more specific.

Installed my VS Ultra yesterday. Loaded latest BIN files. Dish 500 on 110&119 Signal 75-85 Quality 77-85 ish.

Let it sit overnight to auto roll, etc.

PPV's and premium channles are still freezing up and still will say auto roll. Turned auto roll off and than they just freeze.

Any suggestions, or is this just normal? Pretty much defeats the purpose of the whole thing if I can't watch a movie. I know there will be times when this will happen as they try to lock us down, but it sounds like things are up for everyone else.

Trun auto roll back on and do a hard reboot on back

Make sure all your connections are tight, leave autoroll on.Latest bin is 080814U

Well thanks for the help/suggestions

Did a hard reboot, didn't do much

Reset back to factory, re-installed latest BIN, Sat settings and what not.

Also I was using the line out for the other SAT out to my main DISH reciever, which I think was actually the problem in the first place. I'd disconnected that while doing the rest above and returned and watched a full length PPV without any freezes.

Later plugged the other coax in and the Ultra would freeze up again, so I guess that extra output is about worthless?

Going to give this box a few weeks of trial and than might have to step up to another one with HD capability.

when using to loop out, you can only have one reciever turned on at one time, the other has to be off. you need to run a 2nd line in from LNB for 2nd reciever to have both working at the same time.

Even with the second reciever off, it'll still freeze things up. I messed with it the other night. On the regular channels it doesn't seem to affect it, but on any of the premium or ppv channels it does.

Going to Wally world in a few minutes to pick up some more coax cable to run another line in.
