Sorry -and respectfully I disagree to you submission - it is very evident from d dl section that there were gud close to 4100 dl on last bin files for ULTRA. (on 13th n 14th aug).and apparently I don't see feedback that supports ur opinion my friend as such I strongly feel it's just an isolated issue n speciic to those who r reporting such implication??

However we r here to help RESOLVE issues as presented by fellow members in these forums - regrettably due to indivisual efforts that may interact n d outcome cud b inconsistant..plz ..

Hope this puts a perspective on the issue as 4 as d integrity of d files available in d dl section here..sorry buddy but b assured d files made available here r fully tested n verified n r reliable before posted 4 dl by members.. ...

Breaking news!!! ..... thru sheer persistance I got my Ulras back working. Thanks all for your suggestions and advice. Here is what I did: 1) I loaded factory file ....Viewsat_Ultra_V0132 (PC to STB) using null cable. Did the load a couple of times ...not sure that it made any difference. 2a ) Menu-Installation-channel Scan (I had "nochan" on unit) to Select sattelitte and TP Frequency. this got my unit communicating with sattellite 2b) Menu-installation-Antenna setup ---and setup all settings applicable to my sattelitte. 3) Then loaded previous working Bin to see if all my settings were ok. 4) then loaded latest BIN and it worked!! PS: I skipped the Factory Default step as that just thrashed everything.
