hispasat 30W

can anyone help me with hispasat 30W.got it pointing right but im not surewhy i cant get it. i got linear lnb do i need different one?
what kind lnb and wnat settings do i need on my vs ultra to get this sat? thank you all.

Seems you got the wright lnb,or about the dish size how big?you do not mention it.
but i tell you the good size dish is 39 inch.and be patient hispasat isn't easy to get it. use this transponder

thank you for that...well dish is 30in. is this enough? what about the settings on receiver ? like LNB type , frequency etc? what i am trying to get is the cuban chanels that are on there for my wife.it would mean a lot to her...this is harder than i thought....dn and bev is easy to play with...also i think i will have some trees in the way so off to the roof i go...thank you again

Hi:dish size depends where you live.30 inches not big enough.rebember biger the size better for hispasat;settings folow the menu.lnbf is linear.can be standard or universal,i got standard i have all those free chanells.
frequency i got it on 10750 for standard;
tansponder 12050 V 20000 3/4
lnb type on
choose the disecq #1,2,3,or 4 or conect it direct,and do auto scan you should have every chanel you looking for.remember hispasat not easy to get be patient:
Ps:elevation is 20.3 satelite location on 30 degree very low. be free of trees.roof allways is a good idea to install a dish aimed to hispasat.good lucky again

well i guess i will try to get another dish for this. now that i am determined....i was just going to use this one simply because i have it and its big.thank you for all your advice. good to know that i can use any lnb type because i have no idea how to deal with linear lnb. universal or standard is the one i am familiar with. thank you again

i got the bird am catching it with starchoice oval dish 18X32 quality is between 56,57% which isn't so bad am thinking off upgrading but am debating on which dish to upgrade too, i know that minimum dish requirements is 30 inch but as you can see am catching this bird with a smaller dish, i don't know if should go with 36" or 39" there both the same prize $35 bucks i like to keep it as small as possible that being said , all i really need is to catch canal de las estrellas and ecuavisa for my mother inlaw. am from spain and most spanish channels do come tru the smaller dish, so am okay but i know that if i get this channels for her it would make her very happy.

i sugest you go for 36 at least because when the bad weather comes you wont be able to see anytthing,now the signal is 57,57 is low,you can increase it up to 69,70,72 strenght.
i sorry for your mother inlaw,but canal de las estrelas,and ecuavisa are aimed to europe only i think.good luck

where are you located to get that sat with such a small dish?
