Ultra remote control not working

About a week ago my remote control quit working. I changed the batteries to a brand new set and still nothing. The receiver works fine but the remote is completely dead. The unit is only a year old so I find it hard to believe the remote is dead. Anybody have any ideas.

if its less than a year old, call the place where you bought it and they will probably exchange it

I had the same problem and I went bought a new one and it was still the same, then I shut off reciever with the on off switch at back turned it back on and now both remotes work. Give it a try and good luck.
