Channel guide
I'm presuming this is what most of you refer to as EPG? My box is set up for 7 days, but the most I'm showing is 2-2 1/2 hours. Been up and running almost two weeks now and loving it so far, but would like to at least peak 4-6 hours ahead.
Something I'm missing, or is this fairly common?
Thanks

Re: Channel guide
The utlra should do a better job than that. Look in the menu system there should be a feature that allows you to download the Electronic Program Guide, you can also leave it on channel 239 to help populate the guide.

Re: Channel guide
EPG SETTINGS
you can set your epg hours from 1-24 hours.
here is how:
go to menu, user settings, epg settings.
on the first line scroll the number to the desired hour.
press exit then yes to save.
you can also set the length of the guide, 1 hour or 2.
also you can set the number of lines on the guide from 1 to 7.
there is a receive epg setting on the first line.
go to "get guide and press ok to get that.
sometimes this function doesnt work that well, leave on ch 0200 for DN and 2218 for b3v for 30 sec to 1 min and it will populate as good as its going to.

Re: Channel guide
i think on the ultra you can set the guide for a week(7 days) not just 1-24 hours.
could be wrong as i don't have ultra but i'm pretty sure it has 7 day guide. now as stated you can use channel 239 for epg downloading, i like 200(cnn) on DN and 2218 on BEV. but any channel on those transponders will work just set on the channel for a minute or two and you should get full guide.
