Tried everything still no quality

I have a viewsat ultra 2000, dish 500 with dual lnb's. I recently posted because I was having no sat quality. I followed all the suggestions that were offered to me as well as others that I have read in similiar posts. Manufactures settings, hard reboot, reinstall latest bin, realign dish to diff settings many time, went staright from port 1 119 to reciever no switch, checked to make sure that i was on the right anttena with the correct settings.

The only things i can think of is my lnb is damaged or my setting may be a little off but i checked two diff calc sites and followed them plus others in my neighborhood have a dish 500 pointing the same place in the sky, still no quality signal at all. There is no structure nor trees in the way either.

Please suggestions, I'm frustrated looking at a box and blue screen.

did you ever have it working??? If not, are you useing rg6 cable, because you need to

if you could borrow a lnb that should probably be your next step, see if that is the problem.
if not try your stb on a friends dish if you can and see if your stb works on their setup. if it does copy that and try at your place.
post back with results.

if you have no signal then take off the lnb and use a 5 foot cable and hook up to the reciever and see if you get a signal .. be safe make sure that the reciever is off when you hook up always ..if you get a signal problem with the cable ..

Check your mast or pole and see if it is completely plumb and square,just because you have your dish pointed in the same direction as your neighbors means very little,you really have to be on with these things my friend.

if you are having problems with signal or quality try these steps:

-do a hard reboot with the switch on back.
-make sure you have the right sat selected in your Antenna settings.
-check your Antenna settings to be sure they are correct.
-check all your connections including the switch to be sure they are tight and working.
-if your quality is low or 0 you may need to align your dish.
-make sure you have the latest BIN file installed

Never had it working, I am using rg6 cable. Don't know anyone else wtih a reciever or a dish. I have a signal at 75% but no quality. I'll try using the 5 foot cable. I'm stuck

ok i will work with you can you put a small tv by the dish so you can move the dish if you have too and you can see what you are doing first you need your dish aimed at the right sat go to antenna set up let us no your set up and at top right corner it will say the sat you are aimed at

it's look like your receiver was block , that cause your q and s signal intermittent, try this solution it's may work

first load old firmware ultra V1.18 ( this version is nature unblock your receiver ) then load lastest fix 14-08-08, this cause unmatch boot loader, your receiver will freze but don't worry!
then follow normal step:
use failfix if freeze if not use VIRGIN ultra with null cable
then V1.32 and the latest fix with usb
