Diff btw kaeys and bin - ABA DSS

I have a viewsat ultra vs2000. I would like to know if there is a diff btw key codes and bin files. And if so which one i would need to get the channels to appear on my ultra, the latest files have not proven to unscramble the channels. I have over a thousand show up blind scan on echo 7 and 8 when i actually go to the channels they are listed but the dollor sign shows up and no channel. I have a usb drive.

You should have used auto scan however tell us about your lnb and what is your lnb type setting.
