not a hijaker
Rather than hijacking a similar thread, I'll start my own with a similar question...
I'm new to this box; have been a Panny 2500 user for a while now.
I'm trying to figure out exactly which files I need to get this up and running. I've got the V0132 and the PFTAUSW-080904U.PGM on my USB stick. The PFTAUSW-080904U.PGM says it fixes a channel search bug, but doesn't list a BIN fix. Is there another file needed for the latest BIN?
Also, can i load the essential files via the menu, or do i need to insert the usb with the power off and let it load automatically once i turn it back on (hard reboot).
I've posted a similar thread a couple days ago, sorry for any repeats. this box is VERY new to me, so I appreciate everyone's help.

the pgm file is the bin. just load via usb through the menu

Everything you need is in the file my friend,just load to your ultra and watch,any more help,just ask away.

0132 is the factory file from viewsat,do you have all your antenna settings and such,channels scanned and everything?If you have all that, and then d/l the new bin you ought to be good to go.If you don't we can help you out with that also.

I always use the usb stick.

I havne't loaded the settings yet. In fact, it's still in the box at home right now.
I would imagine the factory file in the receiver needs to be upgraded to the latest V0132, if it hasn't already been done by the manufacturer.

Ok...you caught me in a lie! 
i ordered the receiver from our sponsors, Global Wholesalers, last Thursday, but it hasn't been delievered (very upset right now). So, i'm just preparing myself for when it does arrive...getting my ducks in a row, so to speak.

Man,your getting like Obama now,lololol,just kidding.
If your on the east coast, you probably wouldn't get it til monday with the labor day holiday and everything,Every time I order from Cali,it takes at least 1 work week.It may come today though,did you get a tracking #,or you couldn't get that either.That sucks they won't return e-mails,If you don't get it soon you can PM a mod or Admindv,they will straighten it out for you,especially if its a sponsor on our site.
