VS 2000 Ultra file not working for Anik F3 - Page 2 - ABA DSS

I just want to add my voice as another VS Ultra owner with everything working except for 118. The code does not cover the international channels.
I also want it noted that I did everything that everbody here suggested and even went a little further by removing the disq swith and went direct. Each time I would auto-roll for hours.
So I have two questions:
1. Has anybody with a VS Ultra actually got 118 (specifically channel 680)?
2. Do we think a new BIN will come out to fix the problem?

I have the same problem here...The latest file is not working for 118.8 channels...I get other channels with the latest file....I think we need to get another file....

Samola,sorry buddy but we don't have access to the coders here.
I'm sure if there is any problem with,they will fix it soon and you'll have the file here at ABA.

Buddy, Sonicview and Viewsat have a great support.
You can't say there is no good support looking at only to your problem.
It'll be fix with there is a real problem.

Hey guys be thankful you got free tv also you need to upgrade your membership to access tested files hear, free files can have proplems also the coders have nothing to do with viewsat company and we cant just talk to them if there is a problem be patient and it will be rectified.

Thank you all for all your help! Trust me i am very happy getting the channels that i am getting right now! :-) It sure beats paying $50+ for cable or Dish and still not getting half the channels we are getting with FTA.

Lets hope a fix is out soon for the International channels!!!

Try that i had the same problem with mine.
Satellite: E*9 121.W
LNB Power : On
LNB Type: Standard
LNB Freq: 10750 Or 10000
TP FREQ.: 11715
DisEqC:; Port 1, mine is on 4
Motor: Off
Leagacy SW : None

Hope that works for you, on each frequ. you will get some channels and lose some.

I am only getting 8 channels when i scan with these settings? Is this correct? I did not have TP Freq 11715 and i had to manually add it in.

I checked the 8 channels it added and i am getting those channels... where as on the Anik the same channels are autorolling.

By Goerge! E9 works and i am able to see all the International Channels!!!! Thanks Bingozo for your help with this.

I am keeping both E9 and Anik so in the futue is one does not work the other might ;-)))))

Gibahca... E9 has only the international channels from South east Asia and that is what was not working on Anik. But strangely enough the same channes are working on E9.

I must have misunderstood Arb's post from last night. I thought the problem was resolved.

This a trick we use for the SV4000. Since the factory did not provide for receiving AnikF3 118.75W, the ES9 121W setting is used while being aimed at AnikF3. Just to clarify, no signal from 121W is actually being received.

Now you can help others with the same problem.

I was looking for the Indian channels on 118.8...Suppose if I change it to 121.5 as bingozo suggested, will I get the Indian channels are that are on 118.8?.Please let me know what to do

I tried it and it worked....Thanks for all your help guys...Really appreciate it....

I was trying to look for Zee TV and was not able to find it..It was there in 118.8 channels...When entering the frequency for 121W, I could not enter 11715 and the next was 11724...Would that be the cause I am not able to view Zee TV?
