VS Ultra2000
INFO: Thanks in Advance to the Greatest FTA staff & members!Description of problem: Unable to load main file or sat file or factory file Dreaded '0000'came on STB after the TV's timer timed out, (someone had left it on when they were 'exploring' the tv w/either sat remote or tv remote, matters?Receiver Model: VS Ultra2000Software Version Main S/W: PFTAUSW080409H/W Version: VO.7 Dish/dish's: Lnb/Lnb's: CAN'T REMEMBER(?)Network/Satellite: Echostar 8,10 and Echostar 7What you have tried already: config for port in loader is good, tried factory file alone first, then tried mainpgm. file alone, I click PC to STB, then rocker switch & it's not accepting the file, i'm gonna go check again the ZRQINI file again,can you think of anything else? oh, i'll reboot my PC again too. Thanks!

thanks for formatting; i had pasted the template, which was spaced, Anyhow, i have the USB to serial w/ a NULL adaptor, I have been using this successfully for weeks thanks to you guys. I'm going to try another couple of options, i'm leaning toward that zmodem file, i'm going to go re-do my steps.i'll let you know.

Make sure the Zmodem32.dll and the loader execution file are in the same folder. Good Luck.

Thank you for your attention! I found the problem why it would not load: when I download, then extract, some of the content is blocked. When I had the meltdown a couple of months ago, LOL, I had read an article, can't remember where tho, about checking the properties of a downloaded file to see if any content was blocked. If so, ya just click on 'unblock', etc. & wa-la, the file is then usable or complete-whatever the lingo is. So that's what is was & also, the modem file didn't get included, somehow. So, files went from PC to STB fine. But I still don't have TV...I loaded the 'fail fix'.pgm file first. then the fac default file, but nada, so i'm still testing, not panicking, lol. i'll letcha know.

Just did latest fac file, hooked back up, flashed latest bin via USB, & wa-la, great machine, great people here, thank you, have a good one...
