8888 Moderators? - ABA DSS

Have you tried to load the factory file?,if not,then give it a try****e the loader and your cable.

These are the steps that I've already done.
1. Loaded the flash fail fix. My box comes back up but as soon as I load the latest fix, my box reboots then it just displays the 8888.

2. I've cloned my brother's ViewSat Ultra. Again once my box reboots the same thing that I mentioned avobe happens.

use the cable and the fail fix it has to be done at a slow transfer rate

loader 2 '
main.pgm and load the sat file aslo

Use null cable and a factory bin from Ultra file section.
I Usually use 118
1)Turn off receiver from back switch
2)start download with Loader2
3)turn on back switch.
4)let receiver download pgm and reboot by itself.
**if receiver gets stuck on -END- turn off from back switch and turn on again. this will now reboot Ultra

Thanks to the great support from this site, my box is now working.
This is what worked for me in case you guys are wondering.

Flash Fail (mainpg.pgm.)
Factory Bin (V0119ULTRA-VIEWSAT.PGM)
Factory Bin (VIEWSAT_ULTRA_V0132.PGM)
Latest Fix.

Loaded all these with the loader 2 software.

hey guys just tried to load new bin file on my ultra,and ended up with the same results...8888.....can you tell me where i can get the loader 2 program....thanks

The files were found, it just that on main.pgm file, there are at least 2, one works for VS Ultra most of time, the other doesn't-no sweat. take care,

ok so i did the same steps as resparza1958 had done....now i am trying to rescan channels....but in my settings where it asked for LMB type it now only gives me two types-STANDARD or UNIVERSAL...and so i makes it so that i can only draw S and Q from 110 and nothing for 119...can anyone help
