No Pay per view movie channels
Hello,
I am a FTA newbie, just got a Viewsat Ultra and the person that installed it said that I should get Pay per view channels as well. But I no pay per view channels come on. I assume there is an issue with my antenna settings or something else? I tried auto scan, it does not work...
My Antenna settings are as follows
Satellite Echostar 10, 11 110.W
LNB power ON
LNB type Standard
LNB freq. 11250
22 KHZ Off
Please help as your expertise will be greatly appreciated.

Re: No Pay per view movie channels
Hello and welcome, do you happen to know exactly what type of dish you have? Do you know how many channels came up after the scan?

Its a no-name dish ... around 10 channels come up after the scan. Everything works well but no Pay per view movies.

Re: No Pay per view movie channels
You should be getting almost 400 channels, there is a newer file from the 27th. What are you getting for S & Q readings when you're on trans freq 12224 and what sat does it say it is in the popup screen when you check this in your antenna settings?

Re: No Pay per view movie channels
Thank you, but there is no option for Echostar 6,8 110W. However, options for Echostar 5,7 and 9 are available in the antenna settings menu.

Re: No Pay per view movie channels
I do get a lot of channels, S & Q readings show 70-80 for both fields when tp is at 12224. I dont know if upgrading to the newer file will help as it has not done before. When cclicking on the pay per view channels it says searching (for network) ... the Q comes for a second then fades off while signal stays consistent at 70. Antenna pointed at Echostar 10,11 110W.

Re: No Pay per view movie channels
It says Echostar 10, 11 110W. I downloaded and installed the new file from November 27, did an auto scan and now PPV channels are totally missing. I have an Echostar 3 or 5? satellite as well.... I figured out the settings for Echostar 10, 11 dish but dont know the settings for the other one ... it is for Indian channels...
