Flash the receiver with the latest bin to start. Their is a dish pointing program to help you point your dish. To set up the receiver, you need to know what type of lnbs you are using. Post back with more info.

If you have the latest file in it then turn OFF the receiver for 5 sec. then back ON using the backswitch and let it sit untill the picture comes back.

How to
1. Plug turn on the STB (the STB need to be on so your PC can detect the USB)
2.Plug the square end into DEvice (on stb) the flat end other to your 2.0 USB port on your PC
3. Install the driver (windows will auto detect and ask you to install the neccessay driver for the device.
4. TURE OFF YOUR STB (usung back switch)
5. On your pc, open USB loader or TFTPServ, open the necessary file you wanjted(YOU NEED TO TURN STB FROM THE BACK BEFORE OPEN USB LOADER)
6. Then turn on your stb (using back switch) Good luck

Hi there i have a sonicview 1000 and i am experiencing a problem with the receiver. Every time after watching tv i turn the receiver off and when i try to turn it back on after with the remote it gives me a message ( no service or scrambled ) but when i turn the rear swith off and on it seem to be working fine. What can I do to fix this problem to turn my receiver on normally using the remote insted of using the back switch?

Leave the receiver On all the time, I never turn off my receiver that way when the keys change it gets them right a way.
