problem with program guide and picture in picture?

Hi guys i've been trying to figure out if my program guide should show double channels in the epg or if it should only show one.I'm still having problems trying to get pip to work and i think it has to do with how the program guide list the channels any suggestions would be much appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!
