Problems with Pvr_v0157p A/r Fixed 11-01-07 - ABA DSS

I just wanted to let everyone know the problem with this file. There is still issues with it it does not work. I have been to three sites now with the same result.
I noticed that when i load the file it only takes about 5 sec to laod this is not normal at all. it does act like it loads and reboots the STB and when it comes up it still shows I am running 0156p software and A/R does not work. I think support team missed something on this. I am sure they are working the fix now I just wanted to let everyone know what I have ran into with this file.
I am still up just have to manual enter keys for now. Hope this post is helpful to everyone.

Same here it's not working. I installed it and the version info still 156. Is this really 157?

same here aswell. not working :-( i actually did a factory reset, and installed the factory bin. it only erased my channels and settings. so new bin doesnt work. hope they can come with a fix quick.

Same here too loads too quick to be installing the whole file must have a corrupt file or ext.

I am new to this my box went out aswell but no luck here, I have the sat 7000 I thank you guys that could make it posible for us starters thanks.

I am using 268 and it is working OK. Since this is the SV1000 forum, I presume you are referring to this model?

Has anybody heard if the last update been checked or if there is another fix on the way because pvr-157p doesn't work and it takes no time to install not like the usual updates.

I'm having problems with 157 too. I'm getting no DN but BEV is working fine. I've posted on other sites about this and this site seems to be the only one with complaints about PVR fix 157.

The bin is not working...and it seems sonicview does not support this unit anymore..It is even discontinued from sales...!!!!

This does not mean that there will no longer be the customary fixes for the PVR.

There is a pdf file that goes with the fix and its states that the fix was supplied by CompleteFTA The Future Starts Here. I've posted the problem on this site (it's free) and you guys may want to do the same (more power in numbers) so they're aware that this is not a minor issue for just a few.
