new bin file freezing

I loaded the new file for the pvr1000 and after 5 to 10 min. unit freezes, I have 2 pvr1000 and both unit will freeze, installed factor file, rescaned and did not change freezing after 5 ~ 10 min. anyone else have this problem. Thanks in advance

Freezing can also occur if you do not have a strong signal. Check your sat settings and see what your sig and quality are. May need to tweak your dish a little...

Do a hard reset for a temp fix...maybe our boxes are on the way out like the SV-4000. SV-PVR-1000 owners are soon to be sitting ducks.

Thanks, I think your right, But I will still buy a newer Sonicview the support for the product is outstanding

Try the SV-360 premier, it is great, single tuner and SV great support...

Wow, a new 360 sounds great. I think that those new boxes with the magic board coming out next year will be the better buy. N-3 card swap in progress soon. Can't wait for the new STB's next year!
