Here's my issue. I have a dish pro 500 with twin LNBs. I finally able to receive channels. After chatting with a buddy that has nearly the same set up he's getting more channels. So I started messing with the settings(which my friend was guiding me over the phone) now I have nothing. I tired to reset the receiver and everything. I'm even trying to go back to my initial setup. All I get is "scrambled or bad channel". However, my channel guide is working. Please help!!

you might have to do a factory reset then DL the bin to get it back

You think I would still be getting the "channel guide" with current programming?

i just posted this for someone else.applies to you also:


dish 500 with a dp twin or dp plus twin lnb?

if so use no switch.-direct line out from one lnb port(don't use the lnb in port if you have a dp plus)
diseqc will be 119-port 110-port2
and lnb type DP for both birds.

For the ECHO 8.1; I tried to use DISEqC #2 and I have no quality. But I have quality with #1 on both satellites ECHO 7 and 8.1.
