missing some channels on pansat 2800

i'm vary new to this stuff but i got my box up and running last night, one thing is i am missing some stations like usa, mtv vh1 and some others. i do have ppv and movie channels. i did a rescan and these will not show up?

i have the dish pro steup

i used the newbie guide flashed with

I don't think you get same channel everytime you do a sat scan. I believe it is a hit and miss situation. Do more couple of scan, you'll get them back eventually. It will also be in your best interest to have a channel list. When you do get the channels you wanted, save it so next time there's a new bin, you just have to download the channel list you have saved back to the box. Good luck.

funny thing is i get ppv but ch 177 which is nick gas lol for my son says scrambled or bad channel

maybe someone can explain the sat list to me i have
all echo 7 echo 8.10 and echostar package

ok sorry to keep posting before replys but now ch 177 is in when i am flipping through the ch sometimes i get a no signal maybe i have to go on the roof and fine tune the dish?

well seem to be posting to myself!!
i went up on my roof tweaked the dish a little with the sat finder hooked up not sure if it even moved i had dish install last year.

also did a blind scan on both birds have all channels now not sure which part was the fix.

I am only getting 114 channels and but all PPV. How many channels were you getting before?

I will try and twik my dish outside as well.

well i am vary new to this but what i seen at first was some channels were missing some were there but when i would go to them sometimes it said no signal so started looking at the advanced scan and both sats, i seen the sig strength and Quality signal were jumping round and the sats were locking and unlocking. so that when i went and adj the dish got them to stay locked did the blind scan which maybe a normal scan would of worked had no problems after that
