2800A do not power on

hello every one got new pansat 2800a first thing i do plug it in and turn the power switch on at back of the unit and nothing.what you think is this unit is no good or any thing i can do to bring it back any help would be much appreciated...Thanks

I you get no reaction at all, no lights, nothing.
could be a bad fuse, the cord could have a short, the switch could be done.
but since you just got it new, get it replaced for another, don't bother fixing it yourself.

check all connection but nothing try to power on with remote but nothing.if i dont return this unit how do i bring it back just for testing.thanks

Vtoskov you know where the fuse is located do i have to open up the unit or any one have pic for this fuse would be much appreciated.

Jtagging is the only way maybe but I don't know how about that process.

i bolive inside the receiver there is a fuse if you are going to check it. make shure you put evrything back in place you dont want to void your warranty

best thing to do is return it. this just might be the beginning of the problems with this box.just got it and allready don't work BUMMER. might wanna check if ther is a electronic repair shop in your area see if they can check power source in box if not returnable.

the unit probably a lemon, and once you open it up you'll possibly void the warranty.
If the unit is new, why go through all the trouble of fixing it and investing your own extra money and time, when you can simply exchange it for another one.

as long as nothing has been loaded and its still in factory condition. did u buy from an authorized dealer. not ebay!
