getting flash update failure

when i try to download any information into the reciever that i juss bought today, i get an error that states flash update fail. can someone help me with this problem??

What information you try to download? Be more specific with your problem..

I just had my new 2500A and tried to download Blacklist PKO 09-30-04-X850 040916_265_api_F
Did follow all the instructions. still unable to download that file. The farest it can go is just 1%, 3% or 5%. I had tried more then 5 times still unable to complete downloading that file.

Right now, I can only view all Spanish channels.

Did I miss any thing??? Please be advised.

I used both of them too (downloader & updater). How do I know what patch am I using?

what version patch you are using now??


I would try a fresh from start.
Download the orginal pansat downloader.exe and orginal pansat factory bin.

After you successfully with this, then flash your 09-30-04 bin.

Use the stb ver 2.1.0.0 your Icon will be the one with the red arrow facing down. you might have to flash back to factory, then use the 2500,2300 1500ect...fix, you will find it in the uplaod/down load section of this forum, it is in the bootload repair kit ver 3 you will see a bunch of other things in winzip with it, don't worry about them for now. Just flash with the one I mentioned and rescan your birds and you will be watching tv tonight.
